Several designs are available in the suet feeder world and each has its advantages depending on your particular need. There are two basic sizes in suet cakes, thus your choice of feeder is first dictated by the size of cake you wish to feeder. Most suet feeders are stand alone feeders but certain hopper feeders come with suet cages attached.
