Purple Martins are one the most popular birds in North America. Long known for their consumption of large numbers of potentially harmful insects, even early native Americans attracted them to nest near their meat stores to consume flies. In the eastern 2/3s of the United States, it is very uncommon to find Purple Martins nesting anywhere other than a man made structure. We carry a variety of well-made houses and gourds that can be easily cleaned and feature starling resistant openings. For more information, watch Mark's video on Purple Martins.
