Collection: Eastern Bluebird Houses
Missouri's state bird, the Eastern Bluebird is a cavity nesting species that has greatly benefited from the nesting box program.
Eastern Bluebird Houses - Feature a 1 & 1/2 inch hole, and are best placed facing east, southeast with the hole at least 4.5 feet above the ground. Bluebirds prefer their nest boxes to be firmly mounted, not free swinging.
Several other species will use a Bluebird box for nesting: Tree Swallow, Carolina Wren, Black-capped Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, House Sparrows
We also carry Bluebird House Kits that are great DYI project for the whole family.
